It was a good choice for sightseeing in Kendal. I had much fun and met pleasant and exceptional staff on the night shift. The location was marvelous as for me, so close to a pub, the Lakes, and a restaurant.

The staff at Gateway were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. They quickly addressed any concerns we had and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location of the hotel was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The bar had a great atmosphere and the luxury double room was absolutely amazing, with a beautiful, luxurious bathroom. Although we initially had a small double room, the staff promptly moved us to a better room when we expressed our discomfort.

Despite a couple of minor issues, such as a sloping ceiling in the small double room and some noise from neighboring rooms, the overall experience at Gateway was highly positive. With exceptional staff, a fantastic location, and comfortable accommodations, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The facilities were perfect, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover a lovely pub offering delicious evening meals. The location was excellent, with easy access to main roads for exploring the lakes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was great. The room furniture and furnishings were of good quality, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was tasty, and I appreciated the decent amount of vegetarian options available. I had a fantastic experience at Gateway Hotel and would highly recommend it.
